AFRICA HEALTH DIALOGUE is dedicated to the provision, discussion and dissemination of health-related information, with emphasis on those issues that are of particular concern to Africa’s development. These issues include the social and economic barriers to equitable access to health care services, particularly among vulnerable groups. It targets a wide range of interests in the promotion of health in Africa: policy makers, planners, donors, programme implementers, health practitioners and students, as well as the recipients of health care services. A further objective is to overcome the barriers to accessing health information in Africa, and to empower more people to benefit and to contribute to the global revolution in health-related information.
The dialogue is moderated by Professor Japheth Mati, formerly Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Nairobi, and Senior Scientist, Population Sciences, at the Rockefeller Foundation, New York.
